Influences: One day

When researching, I found the trailer of 'One Day' and I have seen the film which I thought that the storyline was very sad. It has that romantic drama feel to the film, which extreme events occur at the end of the film sudden and very unexpected. As I was watching the trailer of the film, I came across an editing technique which is unique that we could include similar type of editing to make our trailer look more realistic and also different than the other trailers so it would hopefully stand out. From 1:43 until the end of the trailer, when introducing the actors they have put the scenes Emma (Anne Hathaway) and Dexter (Jim Sturgess) seperate&together into photograph frames which I adore and think it's clever.

I will discuss the idea with Dolapo and I truly hope she agrees with me that this will be one of these elegant touches that could turn it into something better than good as what we are aiming is to take risks but to show that it will be worth it...
